I do that every few months, I just get tired of looking at the same ol' "Me" all the time when I post.

Do you make rye breads and or heavy wheat ? Rye is my favorite but hard to find around here. I need to start making my own.

I am not very adventurous, so I have only made white bread. I have also made some applesauce & honey bread. I made whole wheat when my father n law was alive. But we like white (of course, anything that isn't healthy I like) My friend from church made some oatmeal and honey bread and it was yummy. One time I made banana bread wiht yeast but I didn't like it.

I too like to make the breads like in a loaf pan , not cake , but as you say with applesauce, oatmeal , bananas and raisins. That sort of thing.

My Mom used to make practically everything we ate from her own buttermilk to syrup and including our "Loaf" bread that we made sandwiches from. We seldom bought anything like that from a store.

I wish I remembered all that now. I do "can" but as to the other things she did I don't have a clue.

I have been busy with my daughters today so didn't get the pictures on as I had planned. Husband should be home soon and not sure what he wants to do tonight. Are you in some bad weather? I got a glimpse of the weather report when I was in the store today and now it 'feels' like we may be starting to get a storm moving in.

Do you want some bread recipes??? I love to cook and have many that I know are good recipes and am very willing to share them.....let me know

We have had some pretty tricky weather for a few weeks now. Very strange. It rains almost every day and problems with flooding in the low lying areas . Check out water in Tennessee. I've never seen anything like this.

Yes I would love some recipes but you'd have to send them to me directly through message to friend as Mylot does not allow this in discussion.
