Cake lovers  

I've had red velvet cake before and I just don't like it at all. I don't know whats about it I just can't stand eating it every. I love chocolate and chocolate only since I was a little girl and time someone gives me something different I don't eat it at all when it comes in sweet form.

They both sound very interesting, if I liked frosting I would try both of them but since I don't I guess I won't be eat them at all. I'm glad you like both of those combination. I don't know anyone that likes chocolate with lemon frosting that's kind of cool. Yellow cake wit butter cream frosting I know that's that a good combination from other people having that kind of cake.

My birthday cake you wouldn't like. It is All frosting! I get it with Blue roses and My name written out on the cake. This year I orderd and bought my own cake. So I put the name I Wish I had been born with on the cake. It was great!

My sister in law did my cake for my birthday this year. Thankfully she did they in cup cake form so my nephew could have one. She did half and half with and with out frosting on it. Even though it was funfetty cake with funfetty frosting which is the closes thing peopel get me from eating frosting cause it has to be cream frosting and not normal frosting. It has less sugar in it where doesn't taste bad. I'm glad she did it from the box and not from scratch other wise then that I would have been sick on my birthday for two years in a row.

Ouch! A loving sister that can't bake? That's cool. I am the baker in the family. The only one who bakes but doesn't cook. My mom used to make my cake when I was under 18. they were good but then I tasted the store bought cake and asked for it. My mom Loved the idea, she didn't have to bake my cake. And I have had a store bought cake ever since. I lost my mom in 2005 and yet I still get my cake from the same Shoppers Food Warehouse. Usually my sister buys my cake but this time I had the money and she didn't so.. I ordered and bought My own cake. It was fun. Especially having the fun designing it. It was a surprise for my sister when we went to pick it up!

Thats cool. I'm the baker of the family to time I'm baking the treats are gone in days. It never lasts a week when I make. If my sister in law it doesn't move from where she lays it down. I don't know how she does it but she is bad at baking and most of the time its from a box. I can do both box and scratch sweets. Normally we buy my cake since I was little but for the past two years we have gotten a different cake for me. I like the wedding cake that my husbands mom made for us. It was nice. It was white cake with fresh cut up strawberries in the center of it. I didn't like the frosting that she made. It was out of cool wipe and I don't like cool wipe unless its in my hot chocolate or Moachs that I like to drink. Thankfully me and my husband shared it so he ate the top half and I ate the bottem half.

You two were a great team from the start, lol! I hate Cool Whip too. I just don't like the taste. I have been told that I make a cake from the box taste like home made! I guess some can bake and others can't.

Yep we where meant for each for sure. So true some people just can't bake at all and others just can't cook either. I'm glad I can do both but I love to bake more then I do cook.

Yes I know you don't cook but bake a lot. You've told me a few times already that you don't cook at all. But at least you can bake good in the end.

Thanks. My sister cooks but rarely bakes. do you know Rachel Ray? She doesn't bake but her sister does. I finally figure out why I love to bake. With baking everything Has to be measured to the letter. There is very little tweaking of the recipe.Everything is set in stone . But with cooking, it is lucid.One day you can do it this way and next a totally different.

For somethings you need to cook it the same way all of the time and someone things you have to cook differently. Baking is fun and easy for me. I enjoy doing it always. I think my husband and the others like it because I love sweets as much as they do. If I give them sweets they love me even more or it just seems like they love me more. The dogs love it to cause they want me to give them the sweets that I make and then I have to break there hearts and say no.

I know. Chocalate is a no-no for dogs and cats. My sister had a cat who liked yellow cake.

Some people think that it is and its like really. They are not human they are animals and they process food differently from each other. Chocolate is something that dogs and cats can't really process well in there body it just kills them. It smells so good to my dogs they don't really no better that its not good for them. Thankfully they are small dogs and can't get on the counter tops if they want food. Max has tried to trip me a few times when I had chocolate in my hands and he wanted it so bad. I had to have my husband to come and get him.

Oh yeah when he wants his time he wants it and doesn't want anyone else interrupting. I can't wait for him to get his new roommate Aspen so they can play together and keep each other entertained. He's being more affected then normal for some reason but that's okay. He's only 7 months old almost 8 now.

He's a puppy! Oh! Now I understand.

Oh yeah that's puppies for you. They like to have there time and to have there attention almost all of the time. He's been a bad boy tonight and had to be punished twice.I'm bored out of my mind knitting a blanket and waiting for my husband to get home from work.It's going to be a while since its Saturday they don't close till about 1am and it'll take them till about 3am to get the whole places done for tomorrow. It sucks.

If your in Va like you say you are we are on the same time. Kentucky and Va aren't that far apart and we aren't that close to the time change. So when you wrote this my husband was just got in a few minutes before you posted and I was heating up food for me to eat cause I wanted pickles and those kit kats also the pizza as well. He brought me home a chocolate milkshake but it didn't taste good. It tasted funny for some reason. Then I didn't fall a sleep till about 5 or later cause of my stomach and my husband being in pain.

Oh1 It must have been something that had gone bad in the milkshake?I hope you both feel better now.

I don't know what was in that milkshake but it didn't taste good either some other things today. I told my husband I could still be pregnant even if I have a light period but we are going to move on and try for next month to see what happens then. Oh the good news from my best friend was that my husband has a new job but not till July so another month here and we are good to leave. I'm feeling alright. Having cramps and bleeding but I'm doing good. Still feel a little bit icky but I'm guessing that just means I got some kind of cold or something that is just stuck with me for a little bit more. I do get sick quite a bit for some reason.

Fantastic! Tell Hubby I am so happy for him! This means you get to move closer to your best friend and I hope no more long, weird hours for Hubby! That also means you two can get busy trying to make a Baby. Fantastic!

He's not thrill about the new job but its more money and we need it. What he wants to do with his love takes a long time to get there and if he still wants it in a few years when we have money for it he can half his dream job. I know what my is and my husband is trying to get me it. His new work hours he isn't going to like cause its 12 hours ever day from monday till friday. Him working over time means more as well at his new job. Can't wait for him to start in July now.

Monday-Friday! That means you will have both Saturday and Sunday together!

Well if he works 12 hours every day he can actually have a three day weekend and take Friday off or Monday off it he doesn't want to work those day. He'll be working over time every day which is a good thing. He'll have to get up at like 4 or 6 in the morning to be at work for 7 till about 9 or 10 at night. He doesn't mind working that long and then he gets to come home and sleep and do the whole thing over again. It'll be nice for him to have the weekend of to rest and spend time with me.

And he can help make a Baby! You guys can actually go out on a date or better still stay in.Now I can't wait until July!

We go on dates all of the time and we stay in all of the time a lot. I get tired of being home all day and not going anywhere and not having anyone in the house with me. I get bored and lonely and want someone to talk to or something. Thats why when my husband new job starts I'll have someone company to keep me company I'll have my best friend and his family around and the dogs. I know when my husband gets home I'll happy to see him but also want to leave the house at the same time. He got me a teddy bear yesterday.

Oh how sweet. I prefer getting stuffed animals instead of flowers.

Well the best give he has give me besides my rings is my puppy max. He let my get max for my Christmas this year. He was the best gift ever. I do like it when he buys me things when I don't ask for them. Especially candy that I like. I do love getting flowers and stuff animals. He knows he can fill our room with things that I love or watch movies that he doesn't like but I like. He just one big teddy bear and to other people that don't know him thinks he's a bad boy. He is a bad boy but a good bad boy the one that ever gets into trouble. The kid that will stick up for you unless its his family that he is so scared of cause they where always blaming him for things he didn't do.

That's love. To watch a film I hate? I don't think I will ever love someone That much, lol! Thankfully My guy and I seem to like the same type of films, so far. So Hubby is that bad boy with a heart of gold? That's wonderful.

I have a thing for bad boys and he has thing in for girls that are good girls with a secret bad side. We bring the best out of each other. He just doesn't like many girl films but I pick some good ones and he likes them. If he doesn't like them I don't make him watch it again. If he likes and is willing to watch it again with me then we will every now and then. Thankfully I like action films a lot like he does.

I was that good girl with that bad side until my guy found me. He is a good guy! And he loves me? It took some time for me to get use to it. Now I'm a happy good girl. As for movies , I Prefer action films to Chick Flicks.

Everyone changes everyone for there own good but its there person choices to change of course for the better. I like to think that me and my husband have. I like both action and chick flicks. Most of the time its action but I can ever really get my husband to see horror movies unless they are creator freaters.

You two are good for each other. I know it! Me? The only horror film I have seen and liked was Interview Of The Vampire. I don't see horror films . I like to get to sleep with the lights off thank you, lol!

That movie isn't even scary at all to me. Yeah we are meant for each other. I've been a fread of the dark since I was little girl. Scary movies don't really scary much at all but the dark really does. My husband he can't get watch all the blood and guts stuff. We sleep with lights kind of off. We always have something like a little ipod light from my ipod stand.

Blood and guts doesn't bother me ... much. It is the total surprises that bother me.I sleep with the T.V. on.

I can deal with a certain level of blood and guts. The surprise gets me to but then I'm good after it. I use to keep the tv on while I was sleeping at night time too but then when i was at school I wasn't allowed to cause of my roommates where light sleepers and the tv light would bug them. So now I'm us to not sleep with the tv on but I have to have music on while I sleep my husband is the same way. He told me the other night that he wasn't allowed to sleep with his music on at home cause his mother thought it had to be a privileged to listen to music in the night time. she just didn't get that it was a habit and it helped him sleep. I'm so glad that my parents weren't like his parent or I would have gone cray or something.

I didn't go away to college. I have bben lucky I have always had my own room so I can use my t.v. to sleep to. I can't sleep to music. I wuld start singing along with pop. rock is too loud. And I would start critiquing classical. I used to play classical music.

Yeah sometimes I'll start singing the songs as well but I don't when I'm tired and want to sleep. Oh man I have to pay my cell phone bill its past done. I thought all the money last moth went through on time. I guess not. It sucks I have to wait till next wendnesday for my husband to get pay. Which also reminds me about the dog as well. I hope he has a good pay check next week. I have a new post up if you want to check it out its on shopping and people spending money.

It's there if you don't see you might won't to check your spam, or just to my page. I have the email set up to get things that my friends post online and I can choices to reply to them if I can. There are a few where I can't understand what they are saying or talking about so I just skip them and do someone else. Thats the fate of having friends that don't always speak english.

I have many friends where English is their Second Language.They write well but they may start a post about their homeland or it's politics and I can't respond.

There are alot where English is there second language and I can understand them but then there are some things that I just don't get when they talk about it. Some of them I can't understand a word of it. I feel bad if I can't responded but sometimes it happens. Its just part of being on mylot.

Awww I love German Chococlate cake. I'm the same way I don't like coconut but they have enough chocolate on it where it drowns out all of the coconut taste. I only like cakes with chocolate in it most of the time and no frosting is good as well. I hate frosting it taste bad to me to much sugar in it. I like ice cream cake as well.

I'm like you only chocolate cakes nothing else but that. I'm still like that it'll probably never change either. Whats your favorite chocolate kind of cake. I know mine is German chocolate cake its so good even though I don't like coconut its so yummy and that's the only time I eat coconut is with chocolate.

I get it from Giant its the only places that has them at least that I know of. Its next to there pies and cake in the frozen section in the back of the store by the bakery. Its so good you should try it out. Whats your favorite cake if you don't mind me asking? This is a cake post so we all would like to know what you like and don't like?
