what do you feel when your discussion gets deleted?

I have had two discussions deleted and for the reason of "repeated". It doesn't make me worried because it is just part of myLots rules. I always go to the search engine to see if I can find a similar discussion but often I do not because so many people do not bother to take a few extra seconds to add a tag. Now I usually do even when I am not the author. As my mylots mentor always says, we are a team!

There is nothing in rectifying the mistakes in the next discussion . Once your discussion gets deleted , your mylot reputation goes down and it is very tough to get it back . Once I put a design using the symbols in all my discussions as my signature but all of them ( seven ) got deleted stating - excessive punctuation and my mylot reputation got down from 56 to 44 . Now I am dependent only on some kind people who have a big heart to rate my discussion positive (+) so that my mylot reputation may increase . I feel very sad when my discussion gets deleted .

I have only had one discussion deleted, it was a few months after I started here (more than 4 years ago) I felt that the discussion being deleted was unwarranted and contacted mylot through the contact link and explained why I thought that the discussion should not have been deleted. Mylot took another look I guess and reinstated my discussion. This was before the days of an email being sent out for deletions. I was upset at the time it happened only because I had broken no rules with it, the discussion was very unique.

I'm sorry that you have had a couple discussions deleted. I guess my only suggestion would be to recheck the guidelines periodically to ensure that you aren't breaking any of the rules. Good luck with future discussions. Happy Mylotting!!!

Once one of my discussion was deleted. I just took it easy. I understand why they deleted it. so I don't make the same mistake again. but before they delet i was able to get appropriate knowledge from that discussion.

This hasn't happened to me so far so I don't know haw it feels but when ever I created a a discussion I try avoid the violation of rules ...

Does this happen often? I can imagine what the member would feel if that happens after having started a discussion and probably earned for it.Does your earning go down as well ? when the discussion gets deleted ?

In Mylot some of our discussion gets deleted means they are not
accept it according to their terms and conditions, so before u
postings the discussions, better go through their terms and
conditions, the gist of discussions, and at the same time try
to go through those who are posted highest numbers in mylot discussions
as well as star ratings etc., from their u will get some ideas.

I would just feel that I wasted time and effort on that. I had two discussions I have replied to that got deleted, even if I am not the one who started those, I really felt bad, because I also efforted on those replies.

I've only had it happen a couple of times. I usually first figure that I've in some way violated the rules here. If that is what it is then I just try to keep from doing the same thing twice. Also sometimes discussions are deleted through no fault of the poster. It could be someone else that made comments that caused the discussion to get removed. Mostly I feel bad for all those that took time to respond and lost money on my discussion.

i only started 1 discussion and mylot delete that. it said because promoting. i feel bad for anyone who response on my discussion, but for me its ok. i learn from my mistake. I'm sorry to anyone who put their time to response to my discussion and i'm sorry to mylot for my mistake.
