You are right it is not supposed to be a competition, and my discussion wasn't based on a competition of getting friends, it was more about what people think about Pogo and how to make friends, not accumulate them like trophies. Maybe I should have worded the discussion better perhaps, but I appreciate your valid point and response, thanks.

Killing time yes you are quite right there, but it keeps me occupied and out of trouble and my wallet now breaths a sigh of relief LOL

I used to belong to a site just like Mylot which was based in the UK so we were able to meet up for conventions, I had the time of my life, sad to say that's ended now, shame with Mylot I would love to meet my friends but alas distance prevails. Friendship to me is very important and I count myself lucky to have such wonderful friends here on Mylot but Pogo or any other site could never replace it.

I am sure there are friends you could meet on your side of the pond. It just happens one member ( maybe more) lives a half hour from me, and I know her from two sites. Another member lives in another state, but near my brother, and Grandpa Bob lives just about ten minutes from my daughter. Those are the ones I have met.

Hello my dear friend, lovely to see you, as a matter of fact I just got back from the gym, in this weather I must be crazy there were hardly any people at the gym today, I virtually had it all to myself, is that addiction or what LOL! Although I do not like this time of the year and I do tend to slow down. Still a long way to go to get ultra fit and certainly marine like. Sending you a hug, missed you x

You are a lot like me my friend and find the inane banter boring and beneath me and it's so banal and tiresome. I too am a loner as you probably well know by now. I hope you are ok my friend, always nice to hear from you ;0)

I'm ok, lots of family problems at the minute that have been getting me down and this hot weather isn't making things any better.

You're right there have, so far, been no conversations worth having on pogo so far.

I dread the Summer, my SAD kicks in soon too, I can't believe how quickly it has come round, I hate wishing my life away but I hope it goes and quick as it comes, roll on September. I hope things improve my friend sending you a wolfie hug x

18 million tokens WOWSERS! That's an awful lot of catching up I have to do LOL I like your pogo name, funny because I am a different name there to my user name here. I am Reesewardley on Pogo, I should really change my subscription I am sure it should be possible, I currently pay monthly cos I wasn't sure at first, but the yearly one works out cheaper. Happy Pogoing ;0)

It's good that you can turn the chat boxes off. They do have specific rooms for the UK too. It is very addictive, and I am sure there are games I still haven't played yet!

They boast it's the best place to make friends, but judging from my own experience and certainly others this isn't really the case, oh well, to me it's the games not the chat that I stay for. For me because there are such a wide variety of games to play there is always something to keep me playing.

Yes the games are very time consuming, I usually play them into the small hours of the morning, as I am a night owl and with this heat I can't sleep anyhow. Don't worry I'll still be around on Mylot, after all I have my great friends here to think about and for me Pogo is just about playing not chatting.

Yes Mylot is the best place for making friends and that has been proved time after time and that is why I always come back here, Pogo for games, Mylot for chatting!

The guest passes sound great, I have already had a free trial so I wonder if they would let me use the free pass as well.
