husband just started a new job, he works all thru night and has to kip in day  

me, i have to work at night and sleep at day, the only problem is that, its hard to sleep in the morning because of the hot weather. i can't afford to buy aircon and electric bills in my country is sky high.

the thing i do is, i make myself tired so even if whatever circumstances there is, i can sleep because of being too tired to go on the day. maybe your husband could try exercising to get tired.

to say to your husband to sleep regularly

I've been on that situation for more than 10 years the best solution is when he sleep put an ear plug and black eye mask so when ever you sleep you don't hear anything and no lights appearing in your eyes. Before he go to bed eat just small amount such as bread and milk. Don't ever drink coffee it will have awake in daytime.Enjoy sleeping when the angels are awake.
