How did you meet your husband, wife, love of yourlife?  

Oh my--I don't have anything as nearly dramatic to say compared to your love story and your parents!

I met my future husband for the first time when were both only 15 years old. His family was having some problems and he went to live at my aunt's (my father's sister) house, who was a family friend. He was working for a farmer who lived near my aunt, when he wasn't in school, but stayed at my aunt's house the rest of the time.

My family did a great deal of traveling and we were on our way to move to another state and had just flown in the night before to say good bye to my aunt and my cousins. We spent the night there, but I didn't meet Steve until the next day. Somehow I knew then that he was going to play an important part in my life. I thought he was beautiful--very long eyelashes, clear skin and rosy cheeks. But, we were young and painfully shy, so we didn't speak to each other. Just kept giving each other little glances and looking away.

The next day, we left to move to Montana. I did think about him now and then, but always pushed him out of my mind, as I didn't think I'd ever see him again. But, I did--three years later. We came back to a visit at my aunt's house--and this time we were going to settle in the area, as I wanted to finish my last year of high school there. Long story short, my aunt did a little matchmaking and got us together. Five years later, we were married, the next year--I gave birth to our son and three years later, we had our daughter. We were married for 25 years. But, things changed--and we are no longer together. It was painful for both of us. We don't see each other very often now, as our children are grown. But, we are civil to each other, after much water under the bridge.

picture it, the year 1984 in fort washington,md at friendly high school. a shy guy went there with his brother and a friend. they walked up to this group of girls, they were this is tracy and this is yankee. the shy guy said hi and nothing else.
then the guy and his brother and friend left, a few nights later the guy saw the girl at mcdonal and they talked again. exchange phone numbers, then a few nights later the guy and his friend went to the another girl house where the girl was at and the two danced into the night.
ever since then they felled deeply in love and here it is 26 yrs later, married for 25 yrs, two kids and two grandkids.

hi Jerusalemfolk oh my you have beenthrough much and had a lovely story to tell and mine is so ordinary. I was just thirty and working as a nurses aide in St Lukes hospital in Phoenix Arizona,US. well one day the rumors had it we had a new orderly started. Okay so I met him the orderly with the sparkling black eyes and ready smile. We were paired to make a surgical bed together, Well we had our first minor fuss as each of us had our own idea as to the best way to make a surgical bed, and I lost really as his way was much faster. From that we started just meeting and talking, and going to the movies. We found that we both felt we had known each other for years, and were so comfortable. we had so many things in common,yet we were also very different,I was shy,still am, and introverted, while he was sunny and very much the extrovert,he loved people and was very social. He was upbeat, and I was the pessimist but we taught teach other and we loved unconditionally.he accepted me just the way I was and even my own parents had never done that, so I accepted him the same way. Six weeks later we were married and our marriage only ended when he died of a heart attack 33 years later.We had ups and downs but our deep love sustained us and made us even stronger,we were always there for each other.

I met my husband while I was on a date with his friend. We ran into my husband and after chatting, we all went out to eat. I was trying to find my cousin and dialed her pager. My (now) husband memorized the call back number and called me the following day. We will be celebrating out 17th anniversary in September. Oh, my date and his friend, we saw him several years back, he asked my husband why he was never thanked for introducing the two of us. I guess he wasn't mad!

I work in the human resources department and part of my job was to attend job fairs to find good candidates for employment. I attended a job fair in one of the best universities in my country, and this guy went to our booth, it turned out he was a Math instructor in that university, planning to shift career and join the corporate world. I gave him an application form which he filled up and just vanished. Then days after that I called him for an employment interview and exam, which he passed (I'd say with flying colors). Two weeks later we hired him. Then we started going out together along with our officemates but I would always end up with him bringing me home. Then he started sending me flowers, and before he told me of his intentions, I was ready to say yes. We've been married for 13 years now and we're blessed with 2 wonderful kids.

What a love story! That's a story you can tell people even your kids over and over again but still, we still get amazed and interested. :)

My story is not as colorful than yours but here it is:
I meet my husband in a chat room. I was then a fresh graduate and looking for a job. I never touched internet nor place my hands in a keyboard to chat to someone I barely know. I got hired to be a computer cafe assistant/technician. Usually, I go on overtime because I still have to look for customers who were willing to kill their insomnias surfing the net. For me not to be able to fall asleep, I tried the wonders of being online and talk to someone. I talked to my husband. We talked on the net everyday as friends. We met in persons and most likely we become lovers. We got seperated for a year because he needs to study and I have to seek for a better career. We then reunited after a year and got hitched.

as the trend of today, some are finding their true love and their love of their life online. and i am proud to say i am one of them. i have been hurt before my guys in my place so i try my luck online.

God blessed me with a man that love me for me. we are in a relationship for almost a year now. and he plans to come visit me on my birthday and we are planning for our wedding at the same time. hopefully all will fall into places. i can say that he is my soulmate because he came into my life when i am about to give. he is sent from heaven for i always pray to God to give me someone who will accept me for me. have a nice day!

it was in 1995 when me and my wife first met. it was their patron saint's fiesta celebration and my friend here invited me to go to that place. it was not my first time to go there since i also have a friend from that place. it happened, that my girl friend is a friend of my wife. my girl friend had a boyfriend there which happened to be my friend too. the boyfriend and my wife were friends for a long time before we met.

For me I meet my husband in the church he feel good for me that's why I feel friend with her until I'm became the bridge of her sweetheart then they break up with her sweetheart he want me to be her friend until such they want to be by girlfriend for 1 year Feb.18,2006 we got married that's the story of my life.
