How can you define relation between a man and women.

The idea of relation between man & woman is to get married. One's love for God should equal one's love for spouse. One should have LOVE SICK thinking of his/her spouse. The connection to one's spouse should be so intense that he/she is with the other in heart,mind & soul.

Once one experiences this passion through physical realms of marriage, one gets the tools to connect with God. The purpose of relation between man & woman is then achieved.

Maybe we should return to the start,

Where HE was the bread winner and SHE was the HOME MAKER.

Both play an important part in the relationship.
Sadly many have let their minds get foggy to what role they should play.
OH you say an even role in Bread winner and home maker....It won't work.
Just look at how many breakups there are.
Because some one wants a bigger share than they deserve.

You can not share Bread winner and Home maker, Its one or the other not both.

A man and a woman can be very good friends without indulging in a serious relationship. This is what many people fail to understand, and a couple is where both man and woman accept to compromise to be together for life. Each of them need a companion and they will be happy if they do not take a relationship for granted.

There is a lot to consider to define a relationship between a man and a woman. Such definition would stem from the fact that men and women are different from each other. First and foremost, love should be present in a relationship between a man and a woman. Love first and foremost, is the realization and acceptance of each differences. A relationship could not exist or last without love, it's essential in relationships. Second is that a relationship of a man and a woman should be centered around compromising each other. Because of the differences, there is a dire need for a couple to adjust for each other and in the process get better as a person by realizing and eliminating the negative traits and replacing it with good ones. And lastly, a relationship between a man and a woman should be grounded on sound principles such as trust, commitment, effort, understanding, respect, and the like. Without such values, a relationship is doomed to fail and will never serve it's purpose. The ultimate stage of a man-woman relationship is marriage and having a family and in that stage, the basics of relationship such as love, compromise, and all other core values are still very essential for it to work and succeed. Without which, just like a typical boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, a marriage is bound to fail. In getting into a relationship, one should understand that a man and a woman is different and such differences makes a big part of the relationship. Knowingly or unknowingly, such differences could either make the relationship better or would be the cause of it's failure. It purely depends on how it is approached and addressed.

Relationship between a man and woman should be give and take. The man should lead the relationship but the woman should have her own opinions and should be taken into consideration also when the man is making the decision.

Since you did not elaborate well what kind of relation is it...wether a married couple,or engaged.
Or just plain friendship,or could be buddies.
Then,it depends on each situation and relationship.
Between a married couple,relationship of man and woman must be filled with love,respect and honesty to maintain and make a marriage lasts.
For friendship,man and woman must have known their limitation not to give bad impression to other people around them.

In every relationship,love,respect and honesty is what i consider the bests ingredients to have a successful one.

There are many different kinds of relationships between a man and a woman so I don't think that there is one box that is able to encompass all intergender relationships.

There are friendships that are between opposite gender individuals that are strictly platonic and you are able to maintain this kind of a relationship with a person of the opposite gender if you are also married or otherwise committed.

And then there are the sexual/committed relationships. These are the relationships that tend to fulfill the majority of the needs in your life. These are the relationships that should never come to an end.
