The Simpsons.. Why?  

I think the Simpson's began their decline years ago!!! After a while, it just becomes the same old thing!!!! After so many episodes, they have just run out of new ideas!!!

I agree with you bro, it is declining probably trying to meet the PG rating or has mellowed down its criticism to the society. One of my favorite TV series of all time, it has been a hobby for me to regularly watch the Simpsons for how they deliver its idea is hilarious. and of course, my favorite Homer Simpson.. "DUH!" lol

well i disagree, it is the show i loved 10 years ago. ofcourse a tv show that exist for more than a decade can have recurring events.

The Simpsons isn't as good as it once was is something that has been stated since about the third of fourth season of the show, and continues to this very day. Yet they keep making quality shows. Heck the first few seasons when this was stated are some of the best seasons of Simpsons ever as far as many are concerned. I think it's a bit of a generational show, kind of like Dr Who, whatever bits of the Simpsons you watch first are your favorite and most remembered.

And Groening stopped focusing on Futurama for a while because Fox CANCELLED IT! He wanted both to succeed, and we get a new legit season of Futurama this year. I think both shows are great myself.
