Do you buy the 6oz cup of ice cream? One serving size cup.  

Nope, I dont buy the small servings. Due to medical conditions I can only buy certain types of ice cream since most will hurt my stomach. A lot such as breyers, ben and jerrys which are made with cream kill my stomach but tthe cheaper ones such as Chapmans which is made with milk dont hurt my stomachs. I dont eat a lot of ice cream but Chapmans doesnt sell the small servings just the big 1L or higher containers. I find in the long run its cheaper to buy the bigger container since it has more for your money.

The only time I buy the little ones is if there is a new flavor I am not sure I will like or if the kids and I are going to the park with it and I don't need a big container of ice cream. It really does help with portion control I am sure. I don't eat much ice cream anyway because it hurts my stomach.

That sounds like a good idea for portion control. However, I always buy the half gallon size container of ice cream. I have impulse control as far as ice cream goes so I never worry about it.



Anyhow, I have a family of six so the half gallon container rarely lasts more than one or two servings for everyone anyways.

You kidding, I have an 8 y/o, we have to buy at least one of those 48 ounce boxes of ice cream..We all love ice cream, and if we were to buy something that small for each of us, it would cost a lot more than the economy size one..

Hi, giftandbagscom. I usually will buy the container of ice cream. It feels like a paper cup, but it is the regular sized ice cream. I also like the gallon of ice cream too. I like to buy Dove ice cream in the small cups too. It is a great treat to eat when you just want an individual ice cream.
