Chiropractors  

I have a friend who have a nerve ending stuck between two discs, hm its a back injury, known by doctors to be permanent unless you go for the surgery, we played volleyball together, he had to stopped because walking was painful, he consulted a chinese chiropractor who after several sessions put him back on the court in no time! but remember his nerve is still stuck, note that the chinese doc uses acupuncture also!

I guess I can't honestly say is bad or good to use their services. Many people find relief. I have also heard of many people show find that its not a good idea to have your bones manipulated, kind of like when one cracks the knuckles, eventually the joints swell up and create room for fluids and arthritic symptoms. Massage therapy is different, however, I think it help your muscles relax. I have seen some amazing results specially in combination of physical therapy in range of motion exercises.

I swear by my Chiropractor!!! A friend of my Mom's said that the healing that my Chiropractor does is all in my head. I was hurt in a wreck about 35 years ago & the pain comes & goes. I've been going to my Chiropractor for about 20 years now & she works WONDERS!!! I have no doubt in my mind that I would be a cripple had it not been for her!!! I don't have to go to her all the time; but when I need her, I need her bad!!! She always leaves it up to me as to when i see her as she says I'm the only one who knows when I'm in pain. I can go in barely able to move my arm & hand & come out throwing my arm over my head. It also STOPS the headaches I get from the spasms. I went to a medical doctor to treat this for years & all he did was keep me doped up on pills to the place I could barely work!!! . As a matter of fact, when my doctor learned that I was going to the Chiropractor, he threatened to stop treating me if I didn't top going to her. I told him when he could help me as much as she did, I'd stop going. Now I'm NO longer going to him...NOT because he refuses to see me, but because her treatment helps MUCH MORE than his pills!!!.

I have been to a chiropractor and the results were ok. This was a long time ago, and I don't remember going back so I don't know if it was good or bad. Lot of help I am! I do know, however that acupuncture is great! I had a bad neck a few years ago and the doctors could not do anything except try to give me pain pills, but she had me cured in about two weeks of treatment!
