get inspired by books

im not really into reading but one book that really influence me and my life is the bible. since my faith was based on it.

and also there are few books that my husband is reading that i sometimes borrow that i find good and inspires me as well. its something with a title 'heart of a leader' and 'bibliotheraphy' they don't actually change my life but they do influence in my ay of thinking to things.

The two books that have helped me in the past were:

Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people" and

Dwayne Dyer's "Your Erroneous Zones"

I also like books on Buddhism by Thich Nhat Hahn

Nope, not for the moment.. haha =D I'm not someone whom likes to read, and as such, i will not be getting inspiration from there.. haha =D

Maybe one day, when i happened to chance upon a good book, when i'm bored, only then i will realize the secret to success, and be starting my own company as well?? haha =D

Actually there are alot of inspiration around us, just that they are not so obvious.. We just need to be more detailed in watching ple around us, and we will get our answers.. haha

i'm glad your friend was able to actually apply what he learned and succeed. not many people could. self-improvements books have been around for decades and translated to different languages and millions of people buy them but it boils down to the reader.

No, not yet, but I am actually reading a lot of books including one by Kiyosaki at the moment. I guess I just have to wait and see what happens, hopefully I will find it useful after having finished the book. I do believe that is is completely possible to read a book that influences you a lot, I just haven't found it yet myself!

I think there are a lot of books out there that can inspire us all. I mean I have a few that helped me through certain situations. I love hearing stories like this especially from friends how a book helped them out or gave them strength.
