Are you afraid of Spiders and Snakes?  |

 or do you raise them as Pets?
I have an online Friend who raises Snakes, etc. and I could never do this, as I deathly afraid of Spiders and snakes. I scream when I see them.

I hate snakes, always have and going up on stage with my oldest brother's girlfriend and my mum to have a very long snake put round all our necks, didn't help me to like them either. Infact although the snake didn't do out, it probably made me hate them more. | |

| cloudwatcher (3280) | 3 years ago |  We were sugar cane farmers before we retired and had many snakes come in or near the house, including deadly brown snakes and a deadly red-bellied black. Although it is actually against the law to kill snakes, this is the only exception I've ever made to breaking the law. In order to safeguard my children, I killed every snake that came near.
One thing I must mention though: while most people are under the opinion that snakes are slimy, they are not. They are dry to touch. I'll agree with one respondent and say they look evil, but I also think they have a beauty about them.

I think the thought of holding either of them would send shivers up and down my body..Spiders and snakes have their place..but..I don't believe it is in the house with me!:)+
