4.  bam001 (904) | 4 years ago | I do get the winter blues. I can't help but wonder if I have seasonal affective disorder (SAD). To overcome it, I try to make sure I am exposed to direct sunlight everyday...though it isn't always possible. For instance, today it was cloudy and I have felt really blah all day. When I can't get outside, I make sure to turn on all the bright lights in my house. I also stay adequately hydrated. A few years ago, I tried an anti-depressant, but it really didn't help anymore than the sunlight everyday. I also try to exercise as much as I can. | |
