Don't ask...Don't tell: Obama's mentality regarding green cards.

Let me see if I get this straight. Employers who hire illegal immigrants can be fined, but they can also be fined for asking legal immigrants to show their green cards before they are hired. Is there a way out of this crazy maze? How on earth will I know if the person is legal if I don't ask for the green card? So many people think Obama is very intelligent, especially when he is reading from cue cards, but this idea is a real sweetheart!

I am guessing that what you are referring to is the lawsuit against Arizona and the DOJ saying that it is a violation of civil rights to ask for the green card?
By the way, I have never said that Obama is smart. I'm just sayin...

I have never heard of this one. They ask you on all job applications if you are a US citizen and if not you show your green card or so I thought. Do you have a link to this? I mean if this is true then it is really ridiculous but also, Obama is not alone in making the rules here.

I've never heard of this...where did you find this information? One of my responsibilities at the railroad I worked for was to verify the work status of the track maintenance crews, which were made up primarily of immigrants.
