do you use online personals like craigslist or backpage?

Have you ever posted an ad on Craigslist or Backpage.com? Those are the only two I'm actually familiar with. I've met some pretty great friends from there, but I don't meet men off there for a romantic relationship. I have before and it didn't end well... If you use a different personal ad site, which one? and why? =]

I don't think I would trust craigslist. I was curious one day so I just looked at what was posted there, and honestly for my area it was pretty scary. I don't think I would post on there because I would never know who would be responding and what I am getting myself into with it.
