I'd like to go to somewhere I've never been before. I'm thinking of Palawan but I'm keeping my options open. So any suggestions?

Well, what precisely are your interests? Do you like snorkeling more than mountain climbing? Are you more of the beach type person? Is money also a consideration in your travel? Out of town trips are usually pre-planned to avail of the seat sales offered by domestic airlines. Otherwise, you'll take regular air fares. We had one out-of-town trip planned every year. We usually avail of the seat fare promos. Travel period is usually 6 months from date of booking. Anyway, our country has so many beautiful places to explore. Each has its own unique beauty to offer. I really have a nice trip to Bohol and Palawan. There are just so many activities to do there. We are going to Davao this March. And I'm really looking forward to it. Another chance to explore the beautiful Philippines!

I'm also from the North. Always have been to the places you've mentioned. I was born in Pangasinan and grew up in Baguio. I have been to Bolinao and Hundred Islands. Most of my cousins are married to Ilokanos. So we basically have toured the Ilocos Region. I have been to Pagudpud when it was still undeveloped. Although I still yet to see the windmills in Bangui. I suggest you take a trip down the south. Any place there you chose to visit is really an adventure. Hope you enjoy your trip!

As far as interest is concerned, I don't have a particular interest. I just wanted new adventure and new place to visit. I've been to a few places already. Since I'm from the North, I was always in Baguio, La Union and Ilocos. I've climbed Mt Pinatubo. For beaches other than in La Union, I've been to Boracay, Batangas and Pagudpud. I have traveled to Aparri when I was a kid and so with Nueva Vizcaya and Ecija.

Try Bantayan island in Cebu, never been there. But was able to see very nice photos from there and they said that it looked like Boracay ten years ago, not yet congested so check it out :)

I think that Palawan would be a great choice. If I was you I would take a trip to Bohol Island to see the Chocolate Hills and the beautiful beaches. I know such a destination would be really relaxing and enjoyable. Where ever you go I hope that you will have a lovely time there.

Well the simplest suggestion would be to go to your province if you have one. In cases that you don't I would suggest you go scuba diving. or go to camsur for some fun.

I just got back from the province last month, that's why I'd like to go somewhere else.

My husband's parents came from Batanes but he was born in Baguio and raised in Manila. I've been asking him to bring us to the islands of Batanes so my children can see where their grandparents came from. My research about the islands said that if you are a nature lover you will surely love to see Batanes, it's a photographer's haven, you can go island hopping, diving, swimming, hiking, fishing, biking, trekking, surfing, birdwatching, what else do you need? The place has the clearest beach because it has not yet been populated with vacationeers. We are planning to go there this summer and meet the old folks in the hundred year old stone houses.

you can go to bohol, It is so beautiful there or you can go to batangas and have a boat ride to Kawayan Cove. The beach is like semi-private with white sands.

I've been hearing good things about Bohol. I may include that in my list of possible place to visit. Thanks!

You can try Coron. I've heard great things about that place. You may want to watch Trip na Trip or browse the internet for the best places to go to here in the Philippines. If you've never been to Palawan, let me just tell you that it is a very wonderful place and it's a must visit.

Palawan is a nice place but quite expensive, though yo can avail of promos if there is available. Macau is a very nice place. There are airlines with promo packages that are very affordable. We have been there and we enjoyed very much. You can watch shows in their famous hotels for free. Also you can take shuttle buses from one hotel to another to watch their featured shows. The best is the bubble show at City of dreams. You can proceed to Hongkong from Macau by taking a ferry. A visit to Disneyland is worth the trip. This is if you haven't gone to this places yet. Happy trip.
