How do you express yourself?

There are many forms of self-expression. Many can express themselves through writing, painting, drawing, exercising, eating and many others. When we are emotionally charged up, strenuous activity could alleviate the pent up emotions we have. This way, we channel our energies productively. Proper expression of oneself can be acquired or can be developed. It is healthy and can even contaminate others to do the same. It takes a thorough self knowledge so that one can express himself clearly. Self expression should be done at the right time and in the right place. In other words, propriety to avoid embarassing moments. As human beings equipped with senses and faculties we are capable to do things productively, constructively and destructively as well. But we also have been given the faculty of reason to make a choice. As our nature, we are good but temptations can make us bad if we give in to it. For me, I express myself through painting and writing. My moods can be revealed by my paintings. The colors, the forms and the media capture my inner sentiments. Sometimes, I just laugh at myself because of the outcome of my work But I was glad that I have expressed it. Its better than to keep it to avoid physical symptoms of illnesses.:-)

I usually express myself in writing that's why i always keep a diary with me. Now i have a diary application in my ipad 2 as well as my android phone. I don't have any other ways to express myself but in writing. Though i'm really not good at it, it's the only way i know how.

What really is important in expressing our self is that we let out whatever moods, emotions, experiences we have that have affected us so much. It is not a requirement that we have to be good in doing it. It will come in time. Practice makes one perfect as the famous saying goes. Developing our skill takes time and practicing it everyday is one of the ways to perfect it. Carry on. That's a very good way of self-expression.:-)

I am not good at express myself somehow, and so many people have hard time understand me through my own choice of expression. Maybe I should need to do more practice on it, and done more work on it. That is me, naturally, not be able to fully express myself in full.

as long as you can be understood that would be okay.Just practice it .Or maybe you can explore other ways of expressing yourself. In that way you can have alternatives.

I like to express myself verbally in writing or in live conversation if someone is available. I used to play hymns on the piano and sing them by myself, and many years farther back than that I used to sing to my guitar -- until it somehow disappeared after I moved here. I actually think it was stolen by a tenant. Now I don't have much time for the piano. I may have even forgotten how to play it. When am in certain moods, I write poetry, but I haven't written any for some time now. I do like to express myself in my Zazzle stores, since I can use my photographs to make useful and beautiful cards and gifts. That's about as close as I get to artistic expression anymore. I don't have time to do much else.

I express my feelings through writing because I am a quiet person.I don't like too much talking.

Whenever I do not know what I feel, I just grab my pen and notebook.. I then scribble anything just to ease my unknown feeling. I do draw sometimes but I just laugh when I try doing it.. It's because the only figures that I always draw are flowers, butterfly, sun, stars.. hahaha.. those very common ones.. That's so preschool!! hahaha.. that is why I just do scribbling or writing things that describe what I really feel. That's the way I express myself. I actually envy you because you know how to draw.. especially paint!! Wow!! Good for you!! That is my frustration by the way.. Thank God I know how to accept the fact that I was not born to be a good painter or artist. However, I still believe in the notion that practice makes perfect. You might be surprise one day I could paint a very beautiful butterfly.. Oh?? just wait.. I'll really practice very hard.. :) hahaha..
