Is there more than meets the eye?

Some people look at life and believe that what you see is what you get. Others believe that there is more to it than that. Whether it be spirits, God, Ki, Magic etc. Do you believe that these things may exist or is it silly to believe that life is more than meets the eyes.

I believe in God and in many entities which cannot be seen with our eyes. I have had some life experiences which made me believe that there has to be God and other powerful spirits which are among us. There are many things in our lives which cannot be explained with science and I believe that is where the mystical enters. Many people mock about others who believe in God, but that is their problem, everybody has the right in believing in whatever one wants or has experienced.

Well, I definately believe in life there is more than meets the eye in many things. I know it is a God who loves me and cares for me always wanting the best. With every trial and situation that I go thru I know if I continue to Trust him and go to him in prayer in time everything will be OK. It may not always be easy as nothing usually never is, but it will be way worth it in the end.

Of course there is, based on that thought there is more peace and happiness in one's heart and mind than with all the other problems that go along with being human and that's why we have to have the understanding regardless of what we can't see. The only problem is when we forget it, it's darkness

Yes, I reckon there is more that meets the eyes, people say seeing is believing but is that true? Can you see disease within the body? Can you see those invisible forces out there? The world still remains a mystery today and I reckon there is a supernatural power either within Earth or beyond Earth such as God. Some religions believe that there are spiritual forces that act within nature but we just can't see. There are events and miracles that cannot be explained. Sometimes what we see can be quite deceiving as our eye sight is prone to getting bad, not one has perfect eye sight. That's why we have faith to explain the occurrences that happen which we cannot explain. It's good to know that there is a stronger invisible power out there somewhere, it';s just not people that are on top of the world.

I am not really sure. I have all kinds of beliefs. I think life is what you try to make of it even though there are obstacles.

Well, there are events that can't be explained, yet happened anyway. The thing is, we are trying to explain things using our technology today. The things we can't explain, most people just refuse to believe that they're true simply because they cannot be explained with what we have now. What if we are able to explain it in the future, would they believe it? Is explanation really the key for people to believe anything? What about the things that can be explained, yet aren't that true in reality? I think your question just made me ask more question than answer it.LOL
