Both O.J. Simpson's book and TV special have been cancelled

It's all pretty sick, isn't it? When my husband and I first heard that all this was taking place, we were shocked. They were unable to find him guilty, but they never proved he was innocent, either. He has always had a pretty cocky attitude about everything, too. I can't believe he's resurfaced like this so many years after the public banished him.

We all know he's pretty low, anyway. I never had any doubt that if he had been just a poor, average Joe he'd have been convicted of the murders. He was just able to afford that expensive team of lawyers who finagled his way out of the problem. Justice was not done, and it's sad to think that he was trying to make money off of flaunting his crime. The poor families of the victims must have been fit to be tied.

How could anyone who was alive at the time of the murders and the trial forget? The outcome of the trial was shocking. No one proved OJ innocent, and no one ever looked for or found someone else to pin the crime on. If he was so innocent, why didn't they go after the real killer?

I suppose you're right. Since the material already exists, someone will decide to make a quick buck with it.

It's wrong for OJ to profit in any way. It's also not fair to the Brown and Goldman families to drag all of those painful memories out into the media again.

Yes, his attitude sucks. He thinks he's off such a coup. Then he throws a tantrum when people don't think he should just go about life as if nothing had ever happened.

I don't know if the guy is facing financial problems or not, but he has no right to profit from tragedy and pain. And he does everything with a smug, self-satisfied smirk on his face which turns my stomach.

Agreed. It is sick! I had already decided that I would not watch the tv special or buy the book and that I would tell everyone I know. It is unimaginable! To profit from that tragedy. I have to believe there is a special place for him when he leaves this earth.

You've made a good point. He should be forced to make the court-ordered restitution. That was the only route the poor families could take after they lost the other suit. Nothing good should ever happen to this guy again. He's already been given too much in life and chose to abuse it.

If I were one of the victims, I still wouldn't want to touch a cent of the money he might have made from the book. I was so glad when I heard that Murdoch and FOX had cancelled the deal!

We can all say what we want but it is upto God to do the justice for the victims and he will do it.

I still think he is not guilty but just should go on with his life.
