I heard that Brad Pitt will represent the perfume of Chanel N°5. In all the years this famous brand is represented by female celebrities. This time it is represented by a famous male actor. What do you think about it?

Hello youless! I guess there's nothing wrong for companies to try something new to make people think differently as well. Perfumes can be more of a girl thing but then come to think of it, men does make use of perfumes also, right? I have a guy friend who does help her sister buy perfumes or clothes. I believe men has their own taste that can be good for women as well. Sometimes, guys sees what girls doesn't. So, there's nothing wrong with trying on a guy modeling a girl's perfume. Oh, I forgot to tell you, that guy friend of mine uses a lotion made for girls. And I think it's not being a gay... It's like inventing and recreating yourself...

You are right. Perhaps it can attract more male customers to buy the perfume for their wives and girlfriends.

yes, when men love the scent, it is more likely for them to consider buying it for their wives or partners... By using perfumes, some men can be attracted and hypnotized makes them feel the need to be with the woman who uses it...

I think that would be a welcome change. After years of female celebrities endorsing Chanel no. 5, I think it is now time for it to be represented by male actor. After all, woman does not only use perfume for themselves, they use if to attract their man to. So it is a good marketing strategy in my opinion.

I don't care who represents the brand, I just care about how the product works on me personally. If its a good smelling perfume, its going to smell good whether on a female, male, or even animal!

What do you think if a man represent a woman's product? Definitely that will make the product a great hit to females. Who smell and appreciate the female scents anyway?- isn't the guy/s? So, if a male will represent a female's perfume- that means, the scent is awesome and most guys do appreciate it.

Well it is definately different, but the change actually might help the product. The weirder and stranger the commercial, the more people talk about it. Think about that deoderant commercial with the guy riding the horse backward...that one was talked about for ages! Could be too, that people with subconsiously think that if the guy likes it and is selling it, their guy will also like it and it will be bought more.
