 What type of camera do you use and how good are the pictures when you get them developed? How often do you use disposable cameras? Where do you get the film developed? Do you get better quality pictures based on where you get them developed?

1.  Idlewild (4728) | 4 years ago |  Film?! What's that? I bought my first digital camera a few years ago and haven't shot a roll of film since then. I can take as many pictures as I want and immediately see them, and delete the ones I don't like. And I can upload them to the Web so people can see them and have prints made of the ones they want.
When I did use film, I mostly used Mystic Color Labs in Connecticut; they can be a bit on the pricey side but the quality was always good. This became more important to be years later when my cheapo drug-store prints turned orange...

| Idlewild (4728) | 4 years ago | Whoops... guess i should have added that I use a Pentax digital camera, very small and compact, I can take it anywhere. The one downside of digital cameras is there is a slight delay from when you click the shutter to when the picture is taken; this is mostly a problem when taking action shots. | |

I don't know that I am going to be comfortable with letting the 11 and 13yr old use it without me being there so I want to get them one that will be easy and durable for them. | |

| 2. bam001 (904) | 4 years ago |  I use a kodak easy share taht is 6.1 megapixels. To get prints, I upload the digital pictures to walgreens and then go pick them up. They seem to have really good quality pictures from digital images.
