When I was growing up I use Banana ketchup as my dip for hotdogs and put it in the burger bun. We even use it in the Spaghetti sauce. Then I moved in with my hubby and Banana Ketchup is banned in our table. He likes tomato ketchup and he likes Del Monte Original the most. For me I only use Tomato Sauce when I'm eating in the fast food since its the only available ketchup. Its very sour tasting. I liked the sweet and hot sauce of UFC. How about you guys? What do you prefer banana or tomato ketchup?

What I love most about banana catsup is it doesn't have any sour taste. It's really good. For those who never tried banana catsup the next time you go to grocery store you better check. I'm sure you gonna love it too.

I have actually never heard of banana ketchup, so I don't know what I would think about that. But, I have to honestly say that I really don't think that it would be something that I am crazy about because of the fact that I love tomatoes and I feel like tomato ketchup has a great sweet flavor to it that complements salty foods well. However, overall, I don't really use ketchup all that often because I feel like it is really just added calories.

I've never known about banana ketchup. In my whole life, i've only tasted tomato ketchup since it's common all over restaurants and cafes. There's not much choices in our local supermarket as well, since our locals are used to whatever we have. There are many brands of tomato ketchup though, but compared to chilli, we have a lot more choices and brands to choose from.

Banana Sauce - Banana sauce is sweeter than tomato sauce but with a chunky texture and thicker.
This is the first time I have ever heard of a banana sauce! So I made a research in Net and found some info on it. It seems that the taste of banana sauce is almost like tomato sauce as banana sauce was invented as a temporary replacement for tomato sauce when the production of tomato was scarce. They even need to dye it red to look more like tomato! I would like to try banana sauce if I have the chance. I think I may be able to look for it in some of the stalls that set up by Filipinos in my city. By the way, I like Del Monte tomato sauce and chilli sauce. Del Monte cream styled corn is my family favorite especially if cooked with crab meat together. Yum Yum!
