The Angels aren't as notorious here in the USA as they used to be; probably the most well known incident was when the Rolling Stones hired them for security at the Altamont concert where a man was reportedly beaten to death by members of the club while attempting to climb on the stage. They are still a formidable presence at times, but they also help sponser the annual "Toys for Tots" runs in many major US cities. I've never met any members personally, but I think all-in-all that they're mostly a bunch of decent guys that just don't like being f**ked with.

I think that if you stop,and think about it,no criminal organization will terrorize the population around their hangout!!It's where they go to have fun,party and attend meetings.They don't want no heat around it!!I don't know,but ANY criminal belonging to an organization would be seriously disciplined by his peers if he went out of line and tarnished the group's already shaky image.

But,In the USA,there is what is called "Rat Bikers".Dirty,old-school,that still live by the "old-school" traditions of the underground biker world:Sleeping in tents,partying,and just riding.Their clothes are dirty,their bikes are cruddy,and generally they look more like caveman riding a piece of steel than a HA riding a 30,000$ bike....I don't know if you ever saw a rat-biker,but you would see the difference right away.

If they have any attachment to a city where they get cold weather or snow,they will usually "Sqwat"a run down building,and yes,most likely terrorize the neighbourhood.

But here in Sorel,Quebec,The Hell's Angels chapter used to taught of as the LEAD chapter for Quebec.They owned a few buildings and beside them all the neighbors were saying the same:They are a little noisy on their bikes but the break and enter rate dropped down to 0 lol.I also remember them getting some Crackhead that owed them money to shovel snow and cut the grass at this old lady's home in the neighbouhood...

So in short,,,Not all bikers are the same,and generally they are generous everywhere they go and don't cause waves...but do not cross them in a deal lol

Yah in Sherbrooke and Lennoxville they have all kinds of business.From Tattoo shops to Gas Stations and the obvious strip-clubs....They are a BIG part of the commerce in Sherbrooke and the Surrounding areas...

Of course most of their money is "Dirty",but they always pay real good when they need your legitimate services....
