I think on the BBC website the Have your say section alot of people were questioning the anti-terrorism organisations involvement, while I don't doubt that it isn't a terrorist attack and I don't think it should be classed as one I don't critercise their involvement. Pollonium 210 as you said can't be cooked up in your kitchen and the more serious issue is how it got into the country especially in this period where airports have been apparently strict on movement of simple items between countries and not to mention where it came from.

It shall be interesting to see how this one develops Noot54. I would think it was of some concern as to how this stuff got into the UK, because it isn't something that you can just go and buy off the shelf. I don't think it is a terrorist attack as such, but simply some government worried that this former spy might be saying too much.

I'm suspicious of the entire scenario. Analogy: A dog shows up on your doorstep with rabies. You treat the dog, and you try to discover the dogs "trail" in order to discern if others have been infected.

What you don't do is immediately accuse your neighbor of infecting the dog and demanding "answers" from said neighbor.

Of course, the media have done their part by doing what they seem to do best these days, which is "non-investigative" reporting.

I suppose what I'm saying is I'll sit this one out until credible details are presented.

I am worried that this could spark off a new method of terrorism. You don't see radiation detectors in airports do you? You only have detection for bombs, weapons and drugs! What about radioactive material. Radiation does not go away over night if something is contaminated.
This is major freeky! Latest development is that there are now 4 planes been checked, 68 people refered to medical authorities and 12 sites found to be contaminated! Looks like a hot Christmas to me!
