Anyone ever stole anything?

When i was a little girl i stole a candy bar from a store and when i got to the car my dad saw it and he made me take it back in to the store and tell them what i did. Then he bought the candy bar and when we left the store he threw it away in front of me. I have never shoplifted again.

In a way everyone has stolen something in their life at one time or another. When I was youner I stole some gum from Arbor Drugs. Got it out to the car and me and my brother started to eat it. My mom found it and took us back in to pay for it. After she did that she gave us a wipping that I would never forget. Needless to say I will never do that again and havent since.

When I was about 10 or so I stole a big bag of M&M's from the A&P down the street from my parents' house. I would NEVER steal anything and have never before or after. Why did I do this? I was tutoring a girl in my class at school who lived in the housing project near the other end of the street where I lived. She was one who lived a much harder life than I did and we took a break from the tutoring and somehow ended up in the store. I think she dared me to steal and I think it was also a matter of being as "hard" as she was, since I was always a "goody 2 shoes". After we left the store and did whatever we did.......which I can't even remember now......I just knew that my dad had seen us and I was going to be in big trouble!!
