I have a doberman, but I don't have to take her for a walk. I live in the woods, far, far from the highway and have a large body of water seperating me from it at that. She stays inside most of the time and when she's ready to go outside, I just open the door and she goes outside for 30 minutes to an hour at a time and runs and plays. She has plenty of room to run full steam ahead, which she couldn't do if I had her on a leash.
It was too cold for me today, but she went outside for her morning run anyway. She seems to like the cold as long as the sun is shining. Sometimes I'll go for a walk and she'll go with me. Occasionally I'll even put her on a leash and we'll go outside our wooded area, but for the most part, she's on her on for excercise.

How fantastic, I wish my doby had a big garden or woods to play in. She goes to Shreks mums for a run up the field or my dads but usually it in the car to the beach, she's getting old and if I walk her there she's too tired to play.
I wish she was still young enough to play, we used to have such fun, we still do just not for as long.
You are both so lucky!!

No, he´s a little dog and hes too old. He gets tired if I walk him out, so he stays inside the house
