So how is it your brother is Creek, and you are not?I know that many tribes are alive and active and as they work together they benefit each other.Many have tribal headquarters in Oklahoma. I am of the Choctaw tribe, but have not signed up for my BIA card or put myself on the rolls yet. Many of my familly have. It was really funky to go find my grandmother, her sister, and her mother on Dawes final rolls.

Peoples made up of Muskhogean linguistic stock. There was an historical Creek, a union known as the Creek Confederacy that was made out of the remains of several separate tribes that occupied Georgia and Alabama during the American Colonial Period. The thought that is believed is that the Creek culture began as a way to guard against other larger conquering Indian tribes of the region. So I wonder how many there truly are today! All Native Peoples should have a better status and cherished!! I happen to have Sioux and Apache in my lineage.

I'm full-blooded Cherokee.....I've heard of Creeks. I live in Oklahoma and there are alot of them here.

I am part Cherokee. I get it from both sides of my family. If you do the math I am some weird% Cherokee. It is basically like 1/16th.
