What was the worst thing that happen to your christmas tree?  |

 Mine was last year. Our cat went up the tree and knocked it over. The bad part was I just filled it with water, so all that water went all over the carpet. What a mess that was.

We put it into water, just like you did, and it began to raise little light green shoots/sprouts (I'm not sure, is it a right word for that but hopefully you'll understand) on the ends of it's branches. The poor little tree didn't understand, it's dead already, and it doesn't have roots anymore. It happened 15 years ago. Since then I never had a christmas tree again!

| 7. brendalee (5064) | 4 years ago |  Sorry but I had to laugh. I have cats so I can picture what you are saying. The only thing they do to mine is knock the ornaments off and pee under the tree. I got smart one year and took some string and tied it around towards the top of the tree, then take the other end of the string and secure it to the wall. Fishing line might work too, so it is not visible.
