... what you're making with me? Usually I get all of my cards done in July, but since we moved this year, I still don't have them done.

Yes and no. I am not sending our cards this year, but I am MAKING cards to give as gifts, so I have been doing a lot. I will attach a photo of one of them.

Thanks for including a pix of your card. It is very striking. I'm sure your lucky recipients will be pleased with the effort you put into the cards.

It's really not very hard. That's why so many people do it. You don't have to be really crafty if you have a good eye for what looks nice. You just try different things until you get what appeals to you. I don't always just stamp my cards. I do a lot of cut and paste and other things, too. Last year I painted wooden stars, glued Christmas pix on them, and then decoupaged over them. They also had gold threads run through a hole in the top so that they could be used as ornaments. I used paper and ribbon to make a pretty card and then used rubber cement to stick the stars on so that they could be pulled off easily. You can also make them using bits of gift wrapping paper in cool designs.

I will be making my cards this week and next week. I only have a handful I have to make up. I haven't quite mastered the stamping thing yet, when I try to stamp them they just don't come out right. In time, I will master it, but for now I just use the computer, 3-D stickers, and other embellishments to make my cards. I love to do up homemade cards for all occasions.

Well, I used to Rubber stamp a lot of my stuff. But am not sure where any of my stuff is anymore. So I will have to buy mine again this yr. I used to sell the Cards I made even back when I used to sell at our Local Swap Meet.

Actually, I'm not sure how we are doing cards this year. Going through a bit of reduced business at the moment so things will be tight. I have tons of craft supplies though so I should be able to do SOMETHING. I was thinking some sort of holiday tree out of cloth scraps and decorate with beads and miniature cloth balls. Thankfully my card list is very short since I forget almost every year. None of my friends expect them :-/
