Christmas presents for kids  |

|  Anyone else having trouble figuring out what to get their kids for Christmas? I have two boys ages 9 and 12, and I can't decide on what to get them for Christmas. In today's world, they have everything. What could they possibly want that they don't already have? At least the 9 year old still likes toys, but the 12 year old is at that in-between age. Too old for kid toys and too young for adult toys. What are your ideas?

| |  I have a 13 year old boy and a 9 year old girl...and I usually try to go the educational route.....get them something they can learn, or teaches them something they didn't know......Secretly find out what hobby's may interest them and buy them something like that. I always find that both my kids actually look forward to getting a "new hobby" to learn or make. Check out Zany Brainy... (I know their at the malls in Ohio, not sure if they are online) they have a lot of really neat things that I had never thought of for kids to do and learn and the whole process is educational.....and as a mom or dad should make you feel good, rather than the typical toy that may break or video game to mush their brains (LOL).....plus they may be really excited you gave them a new hobby...who knows what it can turn into!!
