2. shuz697 (1030) | 4 years ago | Depends on the age of the kids.. I always think its a good idea to just go to McDonald's or something like that .. They do kids parties and someone does all the work for you.. I think its about an hour then you leave all the mess behind .. They give the parents free coffee and tea as well I think, so it works well you don't have to cook or do anything yourself and they have a huge playground for all the kids to play..

HerShe (1338) | 4 years ago | Yes, I've been to a couple of those parties. There was an extravagant climber with tunnels and ropes, and a 'ball room'. The kids couldn't have cared whether we were there or not.

HerShe (1338) | 4 years ago | Sounds like a good time where ever you decide to have it. Again, they don't care if you are there or not. As long as you produce FOOD.

| 4. kkaszebski (13) | 4 years ago | I think parks (weather permitting) are an AWESOME place to have a birthday party!!! You don't have to worry as much about keeping the children entertained...they can play on the playground. However there is more work for you than places that are set up to take care of everything themselves, so it is good if you have some friends or family members to help you out with decorations and such. We just had my daughter's first birthday party at a park and I was sooo thankful because my nephew helped my husband out sooooo much (help with decorations, and clean-up, cooking, helping me to clean the highchair off while I cleaned my daughter (covered in cake!!! both her and the chair LOL)

|
| kkaszebski (13) | 4 years ago | hehehe...not sure bout that..will have to wait to see what kind of stuff she is into at that age...we did pooh (cuz mommy loves pooh) but rubber ducky or little einsteins party would have been cool too...I really had a blast with her party..my mother in law taught me how to do plastic canvas and I made some pooh bears outta plastic canvas and put magnet on the back (to put in treat bags) and I made the treat bags on the computer with pooh pictures that the kids could color in and all kinds of stuff...it really is fun planning a kids birthday party if you get the creative juices goin

HerShe (1338) | 4 years ago | It is nice to hear from someone who 'gets into' their childs party. I have seen so many childrens' parties that have only been an excuse for the parents to party. I have never heard of plastic canvas. What is it? I like your idea of making your own goodie bags. Cool!! Thanks for the tip. Create on...

5. mai720 (321) | 4 years ago | I think Chuckie Cheese is a good place to have birthday parties. They can play in the slide, run around, play games, and watch the show they have. Incredible pizza seems like a fun place too. I wouldnt chose a park though. There are too many flies flying around your food.

8. mjtenorio (242) | 4 years ago | I would say for the younger ones, at home. Just rent a jumping ring or have something entertaining for them. For older kids you may want to do a pool or pizza party. Maybe you should ask your kid what they would like to do.

10. skittlez353 (1263) | 4 years ago | For little kids we had a party at those Burger King or McDonalds playhouses before! Those are great, entertains them for hours. For me, I want to have all my daughters parties at our house where they can go in and out all they want and as many people as we want, everyone can bring some food and gifts and have all kinds of events going on outside and inside!
