Crafters, what are your favorite crafty hobbies?  

first of all i must admit that most of the things i make, somehow make their way permanently into my home instead of going elsewhere...oh well..i love doing all sorts of crafts, though i find i seldom have time anymore. I have done ceramics since I was 7. I do beading, plastic canvas, cross stitching, I make my own curtains, etc. I think some of the most fun I have is picking up wooden items at thrift stores and yard sales. I paint them, paint decorations, and do all sorts of things with them. I really love woodworking. I make wooden signs, etc. My biggest weakness with money has to be crafts...I'm always finding my way to the craft section in stores, and then having to tell myself .."Back away from the craft section!" ..lol...I wish I could make my living by staying home and making and selling all kinds of things. I'm so happy when crafting and it's really good therapy! Specially when my sister and I are sitting together doing crafts...the best times of all!

I'm still starting up and finding my ropes, but I dabble a bit in crocheting and general mixed media. I chalk that up to a short attention span. I've also wanted to work with conductive thread, since recently I've seen a lot of interesting mixes between electronics and crafting. Sadly enough, after all that trouble, my completed items usually stay on the shelf for a couple of weeks, then magically disappear. I guess I'm more interested in making it than keeping it....

I enjoy crocheting, plastic canvas project's, sewing,scrapbooking which my sister got me interested in three year's ago.i do some basic knitting, stained glass, i love to make afghan's to give away to people and i also sell some. some of the craft's i do end up staying in my home though. some of the item's i sell on e-bay and other's i sell when i have yard sale's.

I have so different things going on, that I never have much time for my knitting and crocheting, but I love to make things which always is for others. One of these days I'm going to make myself something.Ha

i sculpt , paint , and write , ilike to do poetry to , but more of the craft stuff is painting i guess.

I like scrapbooking and paper crafting, my new favorite thing is Paper Bag Albums. I'm also a candle maker, making tarts and some bath and body products.
Crochet is another one of my hobbies.

My blankets that I crochet I usually give away to friends and family and the new babies that come along. =)

I definitely need to add you to my friends list. Most of the writing I do seems to be craft related. After trying for years to sell my arts and crafts, I feel now that the way to go for me anyway is to put it all in books and sell the books and patterns and classes instead. Very few buyers seem to be willing to pay for all the time and effort that goes into making things. They want to buy finished items for less than the supplies cost to make the finished product. In other words, if it costs me $20.00 to make a painting, they want to buy it for $15.
Right now I'm itching to make some whirligigs. I've never made one. I also have gourd art projects I need to finish.
And I'm making Display Boards for all my crafts classes. So I've got my hands full, but I'm having a blast.

I mostly crochet.
I want to scrapbook, but am still scanning pics so everyone in my family can have copies (on cd) if they want them.

My mom and I work together on crafting. We sell on ebay and at local craft shows and farmers markets. She does crochet and I do hair bows and other girly stuff and hand painted clothing and accessories. I do the knifty knitter scarves and hats. I love that thing. I am terrible with the needles or the crochet though. I can do the crochet but my mom can do it so much faster I just focus on other stuff I enjoy.
