Anyone play Harvest Moon?  |

|  I find it to be a fun video game. My favorite version is Harvest Moon 2 for Game Boy Color. I also like the new version for Game Boy DS. I have also played the version for N64, but I did not like it as much as the others I have played. What versions have you played? Which is your favorite?

| | I have not tried the PS2 verision. I tried to get the one of that they make for Gamecube, but the store did not actually have it although the box was displayed. Maybe, I should just get it online. | | | |

| |  I got it as a gift from a friend who didn't play it anymore. I don't know how easy the PS2 one is to find in stores. It's a lot of fun, though! I want to try the Gamecube version.

| | If you like Animal Crossing, then you will probably enjoy Harvest Moon. It is a somewhat similar role playing game. It revolves around you being a successful farmer. You grow crops, collect plants to sell, exapand your farm, raise cows, etc. I love playing it and Animal Crossing, as they are somewhat similar role playing games that do not involve any violence. | | | |

| | There is more to it then just farming. You also can talk to neighbors and eventually find a companion in several versions. It has about as much to offer as Animal Crossing does. | | | |

| |  I have only recently picked up a copy of Harvest Moon for Gamecube. It took me ages to locate a copy as I have heard they don't make the game anymore and I had to find a copy second hand.
I've only just reached the end of the first year (as I have had other distractions) and have really enjoyed the game play so far. I also have Animal Crossing, which I have also enjoyed, however I think Harvest Moon is a lot more involved and you have more of a scope to build not only friendships, but also your farm and buildings.
As you can probably tell, I'm a big fan of this little game. If anyone has any hints for the game ahead of me, please let me know!

| |  I absolutely love Harvest Moon! My favorite is for the PS. It was the first one I played and I was so addicted, I would play all night long and suddenly realize the sun was coming up again! I had almost finished my 2 year stint when one saved game was erased and another (my duplicate on another memory card) went corrupt. It was one of those old mega memory cards for the PS.
I couldn't wait until the PS2 version of Harvest Moon came out. I was so disappointed in it, though. It was more about graphics than story. Now, I continue to play the PS version and the GBA version. I am borrowing the Game Cube version from my brother but am having a tough time getting used to it. It's so different from what I've been used to.

| |  I'm playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (special edition) at the moment for PS2. I'm nearly through my first year. I like it but I think the GBA friends of mineral town was better, the events and such.
The images are better though and some things are improved
