There's a spider on my ceiling. |
|
I think he's stalking me. He just watches me, waiting for me to fall asleep so he can pounce. If I kill him the spider mafia will find out and put a hit out on me.

sndcain (3078) | 4 years ago | LOL awesome response!!
I think you might be right....I went into the bathroom and hid out for a while, and when I came back, I noticed he had moved behind the picture over the bed...he's setting up his attack position...I'm going to have to use a little evasive maneuver to shake him....it's survival of the fittest at this point....

4. Signal20 (1830) | 4 years ago | LOL I'd rather have the spider stalking me, then knowing there's a huge snake skin in your attic, and not knowing what kind of skin or where it is lol....
Have you ever stepped on a spider, then had a gazillion of it's babies that were on it's back go scattering? lol That sucks too!! Just scoop it up in something and put it outside.

7. Angrykitty (1015) | 3 years ago | I am not a spider killer, for the same reason you stated. If you kill him, you will soon be over-run with his little spidey pals seeking vengeance! I have made truce agreements with some spideys over the years. I see spidey in the bathroom and I tell him, "OK spidey, I will leave you be if you promise the same. Do not land on me and do not sneak up on me. Just go about your spidey business and kill some bugs for me." It usually works. If the truce is broken and I am in the shower while spidey decides to dangle in front of my face, he has bough himself a death sentance and will soon be spiraling in my drain. Most of the time, if the weather isn't bad and he looks like the type who would bite me, I just catch him on a peice of paper and set him outside. I leave DaddyLongLegs spiders alone, because they don't hurt anybody. I had one live over my kitchen sink for months. I talked to him every day, he was my friend.

sndcain (3078) | 3 years ago | I had a DLL on my ceiling for months. He circled the entire livingroom, just hanging out and doing his "thang". DLLs don't bother me at all, they are basically a ball with legs. It's hard to be intimidated by them.

Angrykitty (1015) | 3 years ago | I'm glad you are kind to those nice spideys! My huby even tells me to leave the creepy looking ones be. There was this HUGE spider by my lightswich in the dining room. My husban tells me he is a "wolf spider", I asked soes it biter? He says, only if you mess with it. He would not set wolfie outside, so I had to just issue my truce to him, since I don't know anything about this type of spider. Stayed on the wall for a few days and then I didn't see him again. He had thick legs and kind of a triange shaped body. I know black widows and brown recluse (both very dangerous) spiders are known to be in my part of the country, but so far I've been fortunate not to encounter those.

sndcain (3078) | 3 years ago | Wolf spiders are harmless, BUT, they AREN'T supposed to hang out in public. I also call them "attic spiders" because that's where they live. That this guy was sitting in your dining room tells me something was wrong. I would have booted him. Wolf spiders creep me out. Years ago I had one almost land on my head; missed me by about two inches.
