Christmas  

I have an artifical tree i put up every year, we tried the real tree thing but those needles get everywhere, and i am constantly worried about a fire, so it is a fake tree for me and i just spray some of that new febreeze pine scent stuff, lol, hey whatever works!!!

No, I already have a xmas tree and it is artificial. I think trees best live in woods!

It all depends on our budget. The one year that I decided to go cut down my own tree, it fell out of the back of the car and all of my friends called me a Christmas tree killer for months afterwards. Last year we had to use the artificial one we keep stuck in the closet, but this year we are buying a real one. This weekend the entire family is meeting at Home Depot and picking out our trees. My parents are going to haul them all home in the back of their truck. They are going to look real cute going down the road with three trees!
The year before last we purchased a douglas fir for around $20. It was around seven feet tall, and very full. I see that our local Kroger has trees for $26, but they aren't very big compared to what Home Depot usually has.

I always have a fake tree, I have two of the most stubborn playful cats on the planet and they like to play with the ornaments, so I get fake so that they won't drive me crazy messing with the tree, at least I don't care about the fake one! :)

For a couple of years we went to a tree farm and cut our own--it was really fun and they served hot cider and had ornaments for sale. We are watching our budget tighter, both last year and this year. Last year we bought a Norfolk pine and decorated it. It is a houseplant and suffered much for its association with me. I did good until spring then did not water it enough. I won't decorate it this year. This summer we bought two dwarf alberta spruce that we will put a little decor on and leave outside. I think I will also have a forest of artificial trees on my big front porch--some I have bought, some I have inherited. I would like to have one inside and decorate it with stuffed animals as I have a baby granddaughter who will visit a little this season.

I use an artificial tree..best to put away and go..I re-use mine for as long It's not falling apart.

we just bought our 1st artificial tree in about 6 years. A very nice one too. It morphs.

My family always tries to make a very natural Christmas so my father always goes on the hill of my town and cuts for us a christmas tree. When it comes back you can't imagine the happiness from our face...
