How Is Global Warming Affecting You?

In my part of the world we are having the worse drought in 1000 years(and thats official), we havent had any rain in just over 9 months,i live in a city of 1.5 million people and we are in DEEP trouble,our reservoirs are almost dried up and the countries main river is also almost dried up,we have very severe water restrictions at the moment,we are not allowed to use any water outside of the house,NO sprinklers,No hoses,No washing the car unless its at a car cleaning business.
We have water inspectors,that if they think you are watering your lawn they will take a soil sample,do a chlorine test and fine you if there is chlorine present.
All this has been put down to global warming by the media and the goverment oppostion party.
My countries leader is totally ignorant of this fact and doesnt care about future generations,hes only concerned no futher than the next election,so is unwilling to make any long term comittments or make decisions that may be unpopular in case there is a voters backlash at the next election (sound familiar).
So i was wondering if anyone else is having similar enviromental problem caused by global warming??
