|  I've seen it happen a lot in India. Boy meets girl. They fall in love. Parents object. Boy leaves girl.... The whole concept of "love marriage" is still to find its way in Indian culture. I wouldnt NOT be in a relationship with someone just because my parents think he is not right or whatever unless they have an absolutely justified reason to think so. I'm 21 and i think im old enough to decide who would b right for me. Love sees no age no religion no nationality! i wish people understood that!

Because your boyfriend could be accused of kidnapping and rape of an underaged girl if you are not.
But if you are of legal age, leaving your parents after all alternatives are lost is good, only if you and your boyfriend are both contemplating marriage and soon. It tells your boyfriend you really love him because you are going to live with him as his wife and share your lives together.
But - a word of caution. If you are of legal age and you only know your boyfriend for a short time with no commitments in sight, better not. If you are not of legal age yet, wait a little while longer until you are. Your boyfriend will wait for you if he truly loves you.

| |  Just because ones parents don't approve is no reason to break up with someone,and I say this as a parent!My religion says nothing should come between you and your partner.Not your parents or your children.Your mate is supposed to be first before everyone and second only to God!Parents are supposed to whats best for their kids,and most of the time they do,but where picking mates are concerned,they should butt out!I think that should be for everybody.

| |  hmm. my husband is a muslim, and i am a christian. my parents have not like my husband from the very beginning and it make our relationship even more difficult than blending to cultures together!! a month ago i almost left my husband because the stress from my parents was getting unberable, but i decided i loved my husband to much to do so. i am happy with my decision and i've realised my parents are always going to love me and they would probably always find flaws in whoever else i might choose. oh well. i'm happy and that is what is important!
