If you found a wallet on the ground what would you do with it?

I have found wallets and cell phones plenty of times before. I always make it a point to track down the owner and retun it to them in the condition I have found it. I have been rewarded for this by a few people others just thank me for it. It is always better to give these things back then to use them for personal gain.

If I found a wallet on the ground I would probably turn it into the police. I left my wallet on the top of my car one time and it fell off. Someone found it in the road and returned it to the police. They called me and told me that someone had turned in my wallet. Everything was still in it. So I would have to do the same for someone else.
