I think it's an easy way out for the criminal and also another form of murder. They get much more of a punishment if they have life in jail they suffer for what they have done for years, rather than a couple of minutes.

yes true, given that they realise their guilt and go thru proper rehabilitation to ensure healthy living later on. our internal security shud be more and more rigid and shud come off age!!! thanx.
