Will You Say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" this year?  |

 Will you say the traditional phrase, "Merry Christmas" or politically correct phrase, "Happy Holidays" this year.
I am a 36 year old black female who doesn't celebrate Kwanzaa but I do celebrate Christmas. For me some traditions will never die. I will say "Merry Christmas" about 99% of the time and "Happy Holidays" about 1% of the time.

and I have a lot of GrandChildren and can't buy for them. That why I hate Christmas.

| 2. lilcreole (911) | 4 years ago |  I say Merry Christmas on CHristmas day but, I say Happy Holidays all season to avoid saying "Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Chanuka, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy New Year" all in one sentence. It has nothing to do with replacing saying Christmas it just includes the entire season, Christmas isn't the only holiday in winter.
