Offline I realize you can only do a couple of hours a day in a job on school days. But you could supplement that with making some internet money. I would try WRInsiders.com and some other teen survey sites. You can find them FREE on www.cashpirates.lifesupporters.com or other sites if you read around. It's not BIG money, but you can get all DVD's, giftcards, and some cash in your pocket.

You could buy inexpensive things that interest your friends and classmates, then resell these to them. Like playing cards for the boys and hair clips for the girls. Or if your mom knows how to bake cookies and other sweets, you could ask her to bake and then sell the goodies to your classmates. You and your mom just split the profits afterwards.

Let her sell some of her stuff on ebay. You'll have to supervise though, as people under 18 aren't allowed to use ebay alone. She could also go to estate/garage sales and buy goods to sell on Ebay.

Well my little sister is the same age. And since mylot has made a believer out of me I would definitely say stick with mylot. Also they can do small errands for people in the neighborhood. Maybe also start a dog walking small business, or babysit on the weekends or tutor other kids. I am sure it is plenty more ways to make extra money at fourteen. If the teen can do little art or crafts they can make extra money by opening an online business using a free website account, opening a small candy store in the neighborhood. Making money is endless you just have to have the right ideas.

Your options for salaried or hourly wage employment are limited due to your age. Dog poop picker upper service (I have heard that is a real money maker, as the source of your income is never ceasing). You make flyers and distribute them around the neighborhood. Make sure you don't skip any elderly/widowed people. Paper route, raising hamsters or mice or bees for honey. Pet or house sitting. Make sure you actually perform all the agreed upon duties thoroughly, cheerfully and routinely in a timely fashion. If you can do this and maintain a busy schedule, then you have skills that can take you through college and a career. Learn about investing. A friend of mine started investing in the stock market about that age and has been quite successful at it. And that skill will benefit you for a lifetime.

For a 14 years old? I dont think there are any place hire 14 years old for anything. I was about say baby sitting but I wouldnt ask 14 years old to keep my kids, maybe you can use some of your mom or dad's friends who own the business to see if you can clean the store or something.

As you are less than 18 years I think you may not get registered at any site so it will be tough for you. If you still want to carry on then I think you should contact the administrator.

Don't you think it might be a bit too much, the kid is only 14 after all.

my son worked at scout camp for the summer. He loved it and was able to make a little money. Also included free room and meals.
