speeding ticket for 74 in a 55. Clean driving record. Should I get attorney or not? (worried about 30 day suspension for going over 15 mpg)

I would just pay the ticket and avoid the higher costs of paying an attorney. Getting an attorney over a speeding ticket would not be worthwhile to me time wise or financially. One ticket should not hurt you and it will come off your record after time has passed and you have not been ticketed again.
