Clam Chowder

Do you like clam chowder? If you do what is your favorite kind? Do you have any recipes for home made clam chowder? I want to know your opinion about it :)
I love New England Clam Chowder, and I wish I had a recipe for it, I would love to learn how to make it. Any one with recipes please send them my way, if you do Ill give you a recipe of mine :)

I love clam chowder. Dorine is going to be posting her favorite recipes for chowder in the near future. You should check them out. I saw that she posted a comment so she should be easy to find.

I adore white clam chowder. I do not call it "New England" since it is as typical in Philadelphia and on the Jersey Shore as it is in Boston. I very much dislike the Manhattan kind. The other ingredients seem to everwhelm the clams. And mainly, I don't eat tomatoes.
