You'll get different answers depending on the perspective that you see it from...

From an environmental perspective - it will all go to hell in a few hundred years because we are burning all of natural resources and we'll all perish because the alternatives aren't plentiful or developed enough.

From a religious perspective - Earth will exist as it is today until the 2nd coming of Jesus.. after the 7 year war with Satan, a new Earth will be created.

From a scientific perspective - when the sun finally dies (death of a star) - the explosion and heat from the event will consume the earth... but that's a few billion years from now. Presumably, one of the 1st 2 things listed above will have occurred:)

For humans - earth exists in your mind as long as you are still alive - for your lifetime...

by 2027. I'm heard that an asteroid is going to hit the earth that year. That asteroid is much bigger than the one that marked the end of Jurrassic age.
