Do You Have Migraine? |
|
I have serious migraine, usually a couple of times a month. There are a lot of things can trigger my headache: lack of sleep, fatigue, hunger, stress or wine ect. I tried some medication but it didn't work for me. Is there anyone have the siminlar problem?

1. purrfect1969 (401) | 2 years ago | Yes, I have migraines. I also have allergy headaches. The only things I know that triggers them are bacon and some smells, like smoke. I have tried many medications, too. Right now, I am on Topamax (doctor prescribed) and a herbal pill for sinus problems Fenugreek and Thyme. Topamax had them slowed down, until my neighbor got a wodd burning furnace filling my house with smoke. The fenugreek and thyme is helping with that. Good luck.

3. GardenGerty (14035) | 2 years ago | The literature I have been reading over the past four years suggests magnesium in your diet and/or in a supplement form. My experience is that it helps. I was never diagnosed with migraines, but about twice a month I would be wakened in the very early mornings with a severe headache that no rememdy reached. A situation in my life changed and I began eating quite a bit of seafood (source of magnesium) and taking a supplement of calcium with magnesium because your body needs the magnesium to use the calcium. As long as I do these things regularly I do not get those headaches.

4. Jshean20 (8060) | 2 years ago | I don't have a migraine right at this moment (otherwise I wouldn't be able to look at the computer screen) but I do frequently get migraines. I think it must be something that runs in the family because my mom gets them all the time too. I think stress often triggers my mirgraines and usually having a sleep helps it to go away.
