Mine: My mom (60 yrs)and her new husband. They really have everything. She works full time, and they like to travel, go out etc... thinking a gift card for a resteraunt, but seems a bit impersonal. And ideas?

| |  Give a gift card for three and go to the restaurant with them, make an occasion of it. Your company and your time is the greatest gift you can give.They wont remember the restaurant or what you ate in a few years but will remember the night they spent with you.

| |  Do they have stuff like a travel alarm clock or a travel iron. They both come in handy when traveling. I always enjoyed recieving a new sheet set, it wonderful to slip in a set of new sheets. My mom is hard to buy for too. She collects snoopy stuff so that is always a safe thing to get her. Do they sell those entertainment books where you live, those are a nice gift, there are coupons for almost everything. Dinners, shopping, entertainment, motels, travels discounts. Gift cards are nice too, but I agree with you they are impersonal, I will resort to them when I am at a loss. I like to receive them though.

how about a mother/daughter day? pick her up & spend the day together, get your nails done, your hair done, etc...
then go pick up her hubby & take them out to eat. most moms love to spend time with their grown kids. I know I do.

I could just get her and her hubby dual messages. Would probably be pricey, but my husband and I did that for our anniversary one year and it was really neat.
