length of time outside the U.S

Hi: I got my green card last Aug (2005) and had to come back to my home coountry a week after I got my green card in the mail to arrange for some preparations to go live there permenantl. I am now ready and I am traveling to the U.S on Jun 21 which means I have been outside of the U.S for about 10 months. Will I be denied entry or will my green card be in danger of being taken away from me? Thanks
