The picture here is ...get ready for this... a closeup of CATERPILLAR DUNG!!!!! Kinda gross, but how kewl is it that you can see something so tiny so well with the use of a microscope! I think it's pretty awesome. I love seeing things with a microscope. It's like giving your eyes super vision!

I have used microscopes many times in school and i agree that they are very interesting and fun to use. I have not ever used a microscope to look at caterpillar dung though.

we bought a microscope for our 7 year old daughter for christmas and its great, she has so far been amazed by blood, wood, grass and skin all living in a completely different world to the one her senses make her aware of

Yeah, i've seen many things in my life with microscopes. Actually, i am a student of biology so i often have to do experiments and have to observe such things too which cann't n't been seen naked eyes. I've seen the internal structures of leaves e.g. xylem, phloem etc from the electronic microscope in my school life.

I used them in school and also used to own one. They were a lot of fun, and it's surprising how something as ordinary and ugly as dung can look artistic when examined up close!
