Yes, it was in 1970's. I did watch this movie. It is very hilarious. Some 8 boys for a father and 8 girls for a mother come togeter to marry and produce one of theirs to make yours, mine and ours. The father of sons not knowing anything about problems of daughters - how he manages all very vividly picturised with lots of humour and how the family was united is the synthesis of movie. I like it. Thanks for reminding about it.

I love this movie. I like movies about big families. It came on Turner Classic Movies recently, and I sat down to enjoy it.
