Does anyone out there listen to opera?  | |  And if so, which is your favorite opera? My favorite is Mozart's Marriage of Figaro (Nozze di Figaro), preferably sung in Italian.

| | 2.  kiiizu (1479)  | 3 years ago |  I like Mozart very much, "Marriage of Figaro", or "Don Giovanni", "Die Entführung aus dem Serail "and "Die Zauberflöte". (sorry, all English speakers, I don't know the English titles, even my favorite Wikipedia couldn't help me this time). But Verdi and Puccini are the top 2 opera composers of me. I'm very fond of Verdi's choirs, the choir of Prisoners from "Nabucco" is great but he has others also. Almost in his every opera he has a good choir. His ouverture for "Un ballo in maschera" helped me over very hard period in my life (I listened it thousand times, I guess). As for Puccini, I prefer arias and duets (in "Madama Butterfly", "Tosca", "Turandot" - Nessun Dorma...)
